A Culinary Journey with Asian Noodles
Ingredients :
- Asian noodles : 250g (soba or ramen type)
- Carrots : 2, cut into julienne
- Peppers : 1 red and 1 green, finely sliced
- Broccoli : 1, cut into small bouquets
- Beansprouts : 150g
- Garlic : 2 cloves, sliced
- Fresh ginger : 1 cm, grated
- Soya sauce : 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil : 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds : to garnish
- Salt pepper : according to taste
- Red pepper (optional): minced, to add a little heat
Preparation :
- Noodles : Cook the noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- Vegetable stir-fry : In a large frying pan or wok, heat a little oil. Add the garlic and grated ginger. After a minute, add the carrots, peppers and broccoli. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Beansprouts : Add the bean sprouts to the pan and continue to stir-fry for 2 more minutes.
- Seasoning : Pour the soy sauce and sesame oil into the pan, mix well. If desired, add chopped red pepper for a spicy touch.
- Noodles : Add the cooked noodles to the pan and stir-fry until everything is well mixed and hot.
- Service : Serve hot in bowls, garnished with sesame seeds and, if desired, fresh cilantro or sliced green onions.
