Mirabelle Plum Flan: The Perfect Sweet and Juicy Dessert!

Ingredients

  • 500g mirabelle plums
  • 100g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 250ml of milk
  • 30g melted butter
  • 100g of flour

Preparation

  1. Prepare the plums: Wash the mirabelle plums, cut them in half and pit them.
  2. Preheat oven : Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly butter a tart pan.
  3. Make the flan mixture: In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add the vanilla, milk and melted butter. Add the flour little by little while mixing until you obtain a smooth paste.
  4. Add the plums: Arrange the mirabelle plums cut in half, cut side down, in the mould. Pour the flan mixture on top.
  5. Cooking : Bake for about 30 minutes, or until flan is golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Cooling: Let the flan cool before unmolding it.
  7. Service : Serve your mirabelle plum flan warm or cold, depending on your preference.
