This fondant cake combines the sweetness of bananas with the richness of chocolate for a tasty and gourmet dessert.
Chocolate banana fondant cake

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 120g dark chocolate
- 200 g caster sugar
- 120 g of flour
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100g melted butter
- 50 g of chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons of compote
- 1/2 lime
- 50 ml almond milk
The recipe step by step:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Mash the bananas and mix them with the compote and lime juice.
- Melt the dark chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie.
- In another container, mix the sugar, flour, vanilla sugar, eggs and almond milk.
- Then add the mashed banana and the melted chocolate/butter mixture.
- Add the chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Advice : For an even more gourmet version, add dried fruit or cashew nuts on top of the cake before baking.
