Ingredients :
For the dough:
– 500 g of flour
– 10 g of yeast
– 375 ml of lukewarm milk
– 125 g of sugar
– 125 g of margarine
– 250 g of raisins
– 50 g of candied orange and 50 g of candied lemon
– 250 g crushed almonds
– 2 eggs
– 1 pinch of salt
For garnish :
– 100g melted margarine
– icing sugar
Preparation
1. Put the flour, sugar, eggs, salt and margarine in a bowl, mix well to obtain a homogeneous paste.
2. Add the almonds, raisins and candied fruit and mix.
3. Oil and flour a cake tin and pour the batter into it.
4. Leave to rest for 1 hour.
5. Unmold the preparation on a baking sheet with baking paper, turning the cake mold over.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes at 180°C.
7. Once out of the oven, brush the top of the cake with the melted margarine and pour in the icing sugar.
