Maison Magnum: Frozen Paradise on a Stick
Ingredients :
- Clotted cream : 500ml
- Sweetened condensed milk : 400ml
- Vanilla extract : 2 teaspoons
- Quality dark chocolate : 300g
- Coconut oil : 3 tablespoons (for coating)
Preparation :
- Preparing the frozen base : In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture until frothy.
- Freezing : Pour the mixture into ice cream stick molds and insert an ice cream stick into the center of each mold. Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely solidified.
- Chocolate coating : Do melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Stir in the coconut oil for a smooth, shiny coating. Let cool slightly.
- Soaking : Unmold each ice cream by briefly plunging it into lukewarm water. Next, dip each ice cream into the melted chocolate, making sure to cover it well. Place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and leave to harden in the refrigerator.
