Ingredients :
- 300 g pasta (penne, fusilli or macaroni)
- 400 g tomato coulis
- 200 g of Mozzarella grated or sliced
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 100 g of ham or bacon (optional)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Preparation (approximately 30 minutes):
- Preheat your oven at 200°C (thermostat 6-7).
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions, until al dente. Drain them and reserve.
- Prepare the tomato sauce:
- In a pan, heat the olive oil.
- Saute the sliced onion and chopped garlic until translucent.
- Add the tomato coulis, salt, pepper and simmer for 10 minutes. You can add Provence herbs or basil for more flavor.
- If you are using ham or bacon, add them to the sauce and cook for a few more minutes.
